Hudson 3 weeks old

I'm trying to catch up now that things are more "normal" around here. Hudson is 5 weeks old now and these are from when he was 2 and 3 weeks old. This post is especially for Haley!

Hudson's blessing

Today we blessed Hudson. J did such a good job. It was so special and of course I bawled. I am behind on blogging and am trying to catch up. These are also pics of the kids in their Easter clothes.
About me in the pics, I know what you are thinking...man she's gained some weight! This is true, and while I'm not loving it, I sure don't mind the reason for it!! I love me some babies! Don't you worry though, give me a couple of months and I'll be sporting some muscles again! Just wish the double d's would stick around!

Somebody turned 2!.....a month ago!

I'm a little behind but had to post about our little Liv. She is do much fun! Sweet with just the right amount of sass. She is hard to make mad but it's easy to hurt her tender little feelings (especially if you're daddy) We love our special girl!

Hudson William West

Our baby is here!!! Little Hudson William West was born on March 31st.
7 lbs. 11 oz
20.5 inches long
He is such a good baby already! We love him so much and are so excited he's healthy! We're all doing well and loving every minute with our new baby!

S.G or BUST dudes!!!

I was in much need of a little vacay before this little one comes. Some sunshine, maybe a little warmer weather, you know what I mean. So Jared surprised me Thursday and we took off for the weekend to St. George!
Jared's Sister Jessi, her hubby Puck and baby Josie joined us. It was so fun. Good company, good food, great weather, so rejuvenating! Now I'm ready to have this baby!

The kids had a blast. Gavin keeps saying he wants to move to St. George.





And for the finale.....37 weeks pregs, super swollen, and riding the bike, awesome.

Who needs a toilet?

Yesterday I was doing laundry and Gavin comes to me and says, "Mom come see what I did." So I follow him to our shower he opens it up and said " I peed down the drain." He was so proud, and I'm thinking ohhhh Jared's in trouble. He has been showering with daddy for about a week now. I wonder where he learned that?? Then two weeks ago he comes to me and says the same thing, but I follow him to the garage. He apparently thought it was a genius idea to poop and pee on the steps outside in the garage. I'm pretty sure Jared didn't teach him that one, but you never know. Love my boys!

The dig

We've finally started! We are builidng a cabin with my parents. This has been J's dream forever!! It's so exciting to actually see something happening. It will take awhile to finish but we've got a start!

Blue eyes, green eyes.

Jared and I have green eyes. Both of my kids have blue. My mom has blue eyes like my kids.
Lately Gavin has been asking where we came from. I always tell him from Heavenly Father. He knows he has blue eyes and mom and dad have green. So we tell him he got his blue eyes from grandma. Today we had our normal conversation of where we came from then he asks, "Mom, did grandma give me my blue eyes in a box?"

2 peas in a pod...

My two babies are inseperable! They do the same thing; one will always copy what the other is doing. Gavin gets so bored when Liv is napping. He constantly asks, " Is Livi awake yet?" I guess mom's not much fun anymore!
I know there aren't many pics of me on here lately, but I'm really not diggin the pregnant face or bod this time around. The kids are way more easy on the eyes. So for now, I hope you enjoy my cuties as much as I do!

This year's santa pics

So I don't think Santa was as scary this year. Gavin wouldn't sit on his lap and woulnd't look at him, but Livi liked him. She goes to anybody, even hairy Santa. I don't know why, but I think it's hilarious to watch Gavin be terrified of Santa.

I hope that's not your breath

This is a conversation Gavin and I had the other day.

I smell the inevitable fumes and say "Gavin did you just toot?"
He is embarassed and replies "No mom! It's just my breath!"
Jared and I were on the floor!! I love this kid!

Thanksgiving

I love Thanksgiving in Deer Valley! Every other year when we're with my family we all go to Deer Valley. I was hoping there would be snow, but there wasn't much. The condo's have kitchens and we bring everything and cook it up there. We had fabulous food and played fun games. The kids love it. We went on walks, watched movies and took great naps!! Well at least Jared did. The kids made cute paper turkey with their shoes and hands. They turned out so cute! I will post a pic when I get one. I love my family so much! It was hard to leave and come back to Roosevelt :(

Cabin Fever

We went to the cabin for one last time this season. It was so much fun. My parents came and we had smores and went on walks. So relaxing. I love being in the mountains!

It's a.......

BOY!!!!! We found out this morning we are having another little boy! We are so excited to have a little brother on his way. Livi is already jealous if Gavin gets more attention, so hopefully by the time he comes she will be more willing to share. We feel so blessed and can't wait!!!!
