Girls Camp

Girls camp was so much fun!! I was called as camp director this year and was so nervous about camp. It turned out so good. It was so much fun! My favorite parts were the flour war, spa day of course, and when Jenny Phillips came and talked and sang for us. It was amazing. Jared is in the Bishopric and when I went to girls camp the whole Bishopric would come up for testimony meeting the last night. Apparently things have changed and he told me that just the Bishop was coming. So all week long I thought he might be tricking me like he does and come up for the last night. I talked to him that morning and realized he really wasn't coming. What a rip off!! I was so bummed. I was jealous watching Carrie and and her Bishop husband hold hands! All in all it was a great time! Thanks girls!!!!!

On the job training!!

So those of you who know me know that I have wanted to teach kickboxing for awhile now. I always use the excuses of being pregnant and having little kids or whatever excuse I feel like using. I am just afraid of getting in front of people, even though it is something I love! (not getting in front of people, kickboxing) So last night I went to my kickboxing class at the local gym. We had just finished warming up and stretching and we're getting going with some hook punches. The next thing I know a girl who had come to class for the first time was on the floor. She had thrown her knee out. I mean way out!! I felt awful for her. The teacher ran back to her, told another person to call the ambulance, and she turned to me and threw the microphone at me and said you're teaching. I WAS TERRIFIED!!!!!!! Everyone is looking at me the music is going and the injured girl is crying in the background. Then my sister-in-law says get up there, so up I went and taught the rest of the class. It probably totally sucked and I definetely was not prepared. I'm glad I did it though, and now I know that I can do it, and it's not so bad. I was shaking afterward though!

I haven't blogged in a while. We went on vacation and then I've just been going non-stop since we've been back. I am the camp director for Girls camp this year and let me tell you, I love it, but it is so much harder than I thought it was going to be!!! If anyone has fun ideas PLEASE let me know. It's less than a month away now and it's coming together, but not without the headaches and stress! I'm up for any ideas! Our theme is B.O.O.T. camp, Building Our Own Testimonies, so any ideas PLEASE let me know!
Jared has been working on our garden and we already have so many sprouts!! It looks awesome. I love this time of year. It's nice to see things sprouting after all the hard work! Pics to follow! Happy Mothers day to all you mommies and mommies to be(you know who you are)!

St. George!!!!!

We went to St. George over Easter weekend. It was so nice to be in the beautiful warm weather with J's family. We missed Jason and Carrie, but all the girls and their fams were there!
Gavin slept most of the way to St. George he woke up in Hurricane just right outside of St. George, and he didn't feel good. Oh, no I can't believe this! Our first vacation in a VERY LONG TIME, my kids haven't been sick all winter! Poor little guy got the Influenza virus. He had a fever so high for 3 days. So after the first awful night J said he wasn't feeling so good, CRAP!!!! So the next day I drive my sick family home, then that night, Yep I'm not feeling so hot! We went to the Dr. the next day and tested positive for Influenza. So then we all start to feel better then Livi gets it!! AHHHHHHHH!! Well at least we are all doing much better now!

Easter Bunnies!

When we looked out the window this morning there were rabbits eating the grass. I told Gavin to come see and he said "Mom! The Easter Bunnies eatin the grass! The other Easter Bunny too!"

The other morning I got in the shower and Gavin and Livi were playing in my bedroom. I get out of the shower and look at Livi, I thought "what is wrong with her head?!" It looked like she had some crazy veins or something.....then I see the little culprit hiding in the corner with a blue marker. He colored all over her head and she didn't even make a peep!

Tanner came to play the other day and was showing Gav how to do thumbs up, and this is Gav's best shot, way to go bud!!
