1. I'm not a breakfast person, so I always have a bluberry protein shake for breakfast, boring I know, but sooooo yummy! Recipe 1/2 c. milk, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1 cup frozen bluberries.

2. I secretly think I am a turbo kick master, (Chalene Johnson, beach body) but I'm still being chicken to teach at the gym. Somebody just throw me up there!

3. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, good salsa! Definetely one of my fav foods!

4. I got a new washer and dryer about a week ago, and I just keep walking into the laundry room to stare at them. I know, it's just a washer and dryer, but come on girls you know how I feel, it's like when Jared gets a new tool, this is MY new tool!

5. Even if my house is technically clean, I don't really feel like it's clean until it's vacuumed. It's like a fresh baked cake without the frosting, or bread without butter, you know what I'm saying.

6. I'm not a girl who likes to have my toenails painted with color. I love french tip painted toenails, and fingernails for that matter.

7. I'm a double "color specialist" 1st for Jared's clients who are building homes. We pick out the inside and outside colors, styles, textures, flooring,ect. Also with hair, I am a color specialist.

Sunday Naps

After church Gavin likes to climb in this chair with his drink and take a little nap. He lays just like this everytime. I think it's adorable.

SHINNGLES!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry if this picture grosses you out, but my poor hubby got shingles!! It was so awful. This wasn't the worst of it, but I won't post those pics! He is still recovering, but doing SOOO much better. He was in a lot of pain for a week or so. I have to admit I liked that he stayed home for a few days and I got to take care of him, it was fun!

FHE project

For FHE the last 3 weeks we have been working on a backsplash in our kitchen. It's not finished yet, we still have to grout it and put an enhancer on so it shines, but I think it turned out pretty good. We put black pieces of glass randomly throughout it, what do you think?

Weekend fun

This past weekend we had so much fun! We got 12 inches of snow in one night! Some of our neighbors couldn't get their cars out or their garages so Gav and J went on the four wheeler and plowed drive-ways. They had so much fun! Our neighbors are the greatest! Some of them brought goodies by the next day to thank J. I don't think they realize how much fun he has doing that stuff though!
Later that day we were just driving in our neighborhood for fun (no homes are build where we were yet) anyway we went off the road just a little bit to go diggin in the snow and we totally got stuck! It was so funny. Luckily our house was up the street so Jared ran home and got the truck to pull me out. I thought my car was tougher than that, but I guess not! I hope you like the pics of our fun weekend in the snow!
Oh and just to top of our great weekend, J has Shingles! It's so awful! I feel so bad for him, and Amber!!!

Life's been changing as usual.
Jared is so busy with work and he loves it. He is such a hard worker and such a good husband and dad. I love you J!
Gavin is obsessed with Disneyland right now. I have been telling him we are going to Disneyland and we are going to fly on an airplane. Well this isn't until the end of April. I got the poor little guy all excited and everyday he says "mommmy we goin to dineyland on a airpane!! come on let's go! And I have to tell him it's not time yet. What was I thinking telling a 2 year old that far in advance about Disneyland.
Livi is so much fun. She has the sweetest personality and LOVES her brother. They play together so cute and have so much fun. Gavin is really sweet to her and gets her toys and books and he always pats her head and gives her kisses. I hope it stays that way! I love being a mother to my two beautiful children. I couldn't imagine a more perfect life!

This kid has got serious moves. He makes me laugh so hard when he dances, he really gets into it closing his eyes and everything!

Gavin bit through his top lip the other day. He was playing with his cousins and they went home. I looked at him and noticed he looked a little funny. I got closer, and yep, bit through his top lip. I guess he was having too much fun playing to care. He thought it was funny too!

New Year's snomobiling!

Our friends little girl was so funny, all bundled up but kept the binki in the whole time!

HO, HO, HO........

I was so excited for my kids to see Santa this year. Gavin has been singing songs about him and sees him on T.V. and gets excited, but he still was terrified when we went to see him, our Santa was even a girl...Mrs. and Mrs. Clause weird, but he was still scared. I guess I can't blame him. That big white beard and bad breath still scares the dickins out of me.

Really, am I a mean mom? I think I have too much fun watching Gav try to walk through 2 feet of snow, even when he's crying.
