Check out this cute little dude!! Isn't he handsome? We got to hang out with my good friend Sara the other night and snapped some shots of this cutie. He loves his momma and has the cutest personality! We had so much fun. This cute red barn was at her moms house. We took pictures, picked apples and plums, yum, had a fire and roasted weenies when it got dark. I might just also want to mention how awesome my friend Sara is. This past week she taught me how to can peaches. This week its applesauce and salsa. I can't wait. Her pantry is so beautiful, I love to stare at all her jarred goods. It really is breathtaking. I might sound insane right now, but it's true. See don't you all want to live in the country???? It's da best! Hug, hug, keese keese, liddle keese, big Keese. (Nachooooooo)

First Day of Pre-school

Comforting his sister. "It's okay," he said. "It's just little tiny poops." That should make it all better right? But she's no fool. She could see one big giant pile of "lots of poops." I guess someone should clean the front porch???

UBIC/Mom's B-day

The rents came out for my mom's birthday and UBIC. Great concert and fireworks! The kids had a blast but were tuckered out by firework time!

Gavinator

Our bud turned 4 last week. We love him lots! Gavin is really into fishing and camping lately. Really he loves to do anything outside. He LOVES fourwheelers, tractors, and any type of construction truck. He has since he was about 9 months old. He has a favorite song that has been the same also since he was 9 months old. He would cry when they song was over and I would turn it back on and he would just listen and bob his little head. It took me a few times to figure out why he would start crying though. Who knew a 9 month old had such great taste? He still asks for my ipod to listen to it. It's Stolen by Dashboard confessionals. His favorite food is Steak with A-1 and cookie dough, yum! Fave color is Blue. He loves making giant messes with his toys, but is becoming a pretty good cleaner! He's hilarious, a bit timid, and has an incredible memory. We sure love our bud and are so lucky he's ours!

"Eddy"

We have a little buddy, or 2 or 3. He has been on our deck almost every morning for the past couple of weeks. Must be good eats around here. The kids love him, especially Livi. Gavin named him Eddy. They try and chase him but he is very fast. Livi says "Yizzard, where he go?" Then she will call out "Eddy!" in her cute little voice. Then she moves on to looking at grasshoppers.

Results are in!

So most of you know I have been following a fitness and nutrition program. We weigh in and measure every Sunday, and so far I have reached all of my goals!! 7 lbs down in 3 weeks and I'm starting to see definition again yeah!!!!! If I can just lose 1 lb. a week from here on out I will reach my final goal and then some!! I think it's doable!! Wish me luck! I can't wait!

I'm so vain

So on Sunday I was getting ready for church, I got out of the shower and couldn't find anything that I needed to get ready. No hair stuff or makeup. I made a quick call to my dad who confirmed that I had left all of my things at their house. Ughhh. So I decided to get ready for church the best I could with what I had. I used a mini blowdryer and no brushes, just a comb to dry my hair. Well I have natural curl in my hair and it didn't turn out so pretty. SO then I had an old flat iron that doesn't work to well. I gave that a go and my hair just turned out straight on top and frizzy on the ends. I'm a hairdresser but no magic was being worked on this hair. So then I looked at my pasty make-up less face in the mirror and thought, I will just get dressed put on some jewelry and that should doll me up enough. Sadly to say when I looked in the mirror I was horrified. It just really wasn't working out. So I sat on my bed and thought back and forth in my head, I'm not going to church like this, then I thought, yes you are you're not that vain just go. After about 5 minutes of this and a little lipgloss later, I decided to give into my vanity and not go to church. I called a sub last minute and felt like dirt that I didnt' go. I guess I really am that vain!
While on the subject of vanity I thought I would actually post a pic of Olivia when she is freshly bathed and hair done. Since it only lasts about 10 minutes, it's rare that I have pics of her like this. I think she's adorable!

Fitness REvolution

I am so excited for this! The awesome gals are coming to my house this Saturday to teach a group of us how to get in awesome shape!! I think it's a great thing they are doing and sharing their talents with people. I've heard from people who are doing the program that it's awesome!! I can't wait!! "Le Zoo"

Oh the zoo.. We had a great time. It rained on us, ( i included a lovely pic of myself) and when it stopped it was perfect weather. Not too hot and a little muggy just right. The rain also brought out the pleasant smell of the zoo. I asked Gavin what his favorite part was and of course it was the carousel.




Isn't my mom the cutest grandma! Livi LOVED the elephants.
